Port of Louisiana
Contextualized in the port of New Orleans, the Port exhibit highlights the importance, vitality, and connection of the port of New Orleans to Louisiana and the world. This exhibit brings to life the integral role of the occupations and the types of boats found in this region. Activities include: navigating a container ship down the river, operating a crane to load and unload cargo, piloting a tugboat pushing a barge, acting as a crew members on a cruise ship.
