Family Interactive Gallery (FIG)
This 3,000 square foot children's and family gallery within the new Whatcom Museum at the Lightcatcher invites visitors to explore their connection to art. Activities in this art-based gallery are multi-layered and provide opportunities to observe, create, discover, and collaborate. Activity Areas include; Art in Motion, Illumination (Color Mixing, 3D Viewing, Light Table, Diorama Animation), Story Creation, 3D Sculpture, Rain Hut, Stop Picture and Art Naturally Toddler Area. Opened November 2009.
